Guide
Remove a Logo from a Photo
A logo is usually the easiest thing to clean from a photo you own: it's a solid, high-contrast shape with clear edges, so the tool can find it and rebuild the area behind it. Upload the photo, mark the logo, run the clean-up, and download.
Only upload content that you own or have permission to modify. A logo is often a trademark, so removing one from someone else's photo and publishing the result can violate their rights.

Upload the photo
JPG, PNG or WebP up to 20 MB. The file goes to private storage that only your account can read.
- 02
Let the tool find the logo — or mark it yourself
Press AI Auto Detect. Logos in a corner, a repeated brand mark across the middle of a frame, and faint translucent watermarks are exactly what detection looks for. Check the box it draws: it should hug the logo. If the logo is heavily stylised or partly transparent, trace the shape yourself with the freehand tool.
- 03
Rebuild the area
The AI fills the marked area from the rest of the photo. A logo over sky, a wall or blurred background disappears cleanly; a logo sitting on a face, a hand or fine detail is harder.

Compare and download
Slide the before/after handle and look at the edges of where the logo used to be — that's where a trace would show. Adjust the selection and run it again if needed.
Logos, watermarks and text
A logo is a graphic, a watermark is usually repeated text or a translucent overlay, and a date stamp is small fixed text. All three are removed the same way, but a logo drawn with thin outlines or a soft glow needs a slightly wider selection than the shape you can see.
When a logo is hard
If it covers something with structure — an eye, patterned fabric, a horizon line — the rebuild can look soft or slightly warped. The fix is a tighter selection and a second run, not a bigger one.
Removing a logo you don't own
A brand logo on a product photo is often a trademark. Removing it doesn't transfer any rights to you, and using the result to sell something or imply endorsement is a different matter from cleaning your own work.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I remove a logo from a picture?
- Yes, from a picture you own or have permission to edit. Mark the logo and the AI rebuilds that area from the surrounding pixels.
- Will it leave a blur?
- On a simple background, usually not. Over busy detail, a soft patch can remain.
- Does the free plan include logo removal?
- Yes — it's the same image tool, with three clean-ups a day on the free plan.
- Can I remove a logo from a video?
- Yes, with the video tool, as long as the logo stays in one place. Free accounts get one clip up to 15 seconds a day.
- Is it legal to remove a logo from a photo?
- When the photo is yours, yes. A logo is often a trademark, so removing it from someone else's photo and publishing the result can cause legal problems.
